Institutional Dealer

An opportunity is available for an experienced Institutional Dealer based in Sandton. Key Responsibilities • Disseminate market intelligence, order flow and other relevant information to develop trading relationships and increase volumes. • Manage and service existing institutional accounts. • Prepare and distribute morning and market updates. • Communicate order flow to clients through appropriate channels. • Support trade processing, settlement, account management and record keeping. • Identify and develop new institutional business opportunities. • Maintain accurate client and prospect information. • Respond professionally to client queries. • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions. • Provide regular business-development feedback. • Build strong and constructive stakeholder relationships. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree. • 3–5 years of sales or trading experience. • Strong analytical and quantitative ability. • In-depth knowledge across multiple equity product areas. • Excellent attention to detail. • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong PC and financial-technology skills. Additional Requirements • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport. • Flexibility to work extended hours when required. • Ability to travel when necessary.
